Stephen will speak at the Southwest Manuscripters monthly meeting on March 15, 2010. The meeting starts at 7pm and is being held at the Palos Verdes Library (701 Silver Spur Road, Rolling Hills Estates, CA 90274, 310-377-9584). Southwest Manuscripters has been around since 1949 and has hosted such speakers as Ray Bradbury, Rod Serling, Carolyn See and Steve Allen. In 1989 Stephen Smoke wrote the novel Trick of the Light (published by Beyond Words Publishing, the same company that published The Secret). At that time he released an album with the same title. Stephen's newest novel, The Prince of Palos Verdes, was featured at the Concours de Elegance's 2008 Tour d’Epicure Road Rallye in Palos Verdes, California. This year's event had a mystery motiff and each participant received a copy of The Prince of Palos Verdes. Stephen is seen below getting ready to sign books at Trump International after the rallye. The following week Stephen signed copies of The Prince of Palos Verdes and read from the book. He also read some recent poetry and excerpts from his upcoming novel, Cathedral of the Senses.
